Last Friday we welcomed our beautiful Emory Elouise and are all walking around in loony town because we’re completely smitten by how sweet and beautiful and tiny she is.
Everything about her delivery and entrance into this world was perfect and really way better than we were expecting. Alex and I showed up to the hospital around 6am, started the induction process around 9am and were ready for “go-time” at 7:40pm!
I think the best part about the past few days has been seeing Grace and Haddon interact with Emory. Haddon gives her so many kisses and Grace just wants to sit and hold her all day long. Also, seeing Alex interact with another little person has been wonderful. He’s so confident in what to do and in his role as a dad, it puts the rest of us at ease and reassures us that we’re all going to be just fine.
Her toes are my absolute favorite. They’re so teenie and delicious!
