EVENING WALKS | WITH TEDDY SOFT BAKED FILLED SNACKS

If you have followed along here, you know that we just recently moved our family from Florida to Nebraska in the middle of winter! Most our days have been spent indoors, but last weekend the weather was incredible and we spent every minute of the day outdoors. The sun was shining and there was the most amazing warm breeze. We didn’t realize how much we’d miss the warm weather until we got a glimpse of it.

I think that’s one of the things I miss the most about living in Florida. We got out every night for an evening walk with the kids, we breathed in some fresh air and all of us got some exercise before bed…Hopefully once spring is in full swing, we can them back up.

During our walks, we ask the kids to keep their eyes open and look out for animals, rocks, trees or anything that they may want to bring back home.  Grace usually picks out cool looking branches and Haddon just picks up random rocks. They call it their “treasure” and we bring it home to talk about it or glue it on cardboard as a science project

While we’re out and about exploring, we like to take breaks and have a few to-go snacks. This time around we packed a few fruits and the new TEDDY SOFT BAKED Filled Snacks! They’re shaped like little teddy bears and are individually packaged making it easy for the kids to enjoy their own.

We’re trying to get Emory used to being outside and on the stroller.  Grace and I have been going on runs since she was born and she really enjoys getting outdoors. Haddon is a wild card child. Some days he does really well and just hangs out with his blanky and pacifier and sometimes he wants to run into the lake.  You really never know with him.

Grace’s face here sums up how I’m feeling about this weather. It’s getting us all really excited for spring!

Haddon is at the stage where he loves sharing.  Grace on the other hand is aware of every single bite specially of her TEDDY SOFT BAKED Filled Snacks.
