Over the years, I have developed a house rhythm and expectation that whatever mom makes, is what we’re eating.  Growing up, my mom set food in front of us, and my three brothers and I were not given another option.  I’ve had to adapt to my mom’s ways because I too am outnumbered by children and would forsee WW3 breaking out if I gave everyone options.  For that reason, I set the expectation early on, knowing that making individual meals for each kid, was not realistic for our family.

Enter Emory! When it comes to picky eaters in my family, Emory takes the trophy. For some reason, she tends to let me know when she is not happy with the meal I have prepared and will go above and beyond to stand her ground.

This time around, I have had to tap in a little extra support from the experts and have sought out the Happy Mama Mentors for support!

Happy Family Organics provides not only premium, organic snacks & meals, but they also provide FREE advice from registered dietitians and lactation specialists who are certified in infant and maternal nutrition.  I quickly chatted with one of their Mama Mentors and was so relieved at the advice they gave me.  I’m hoping that our feeding struggle is just a phase, but I know that  I have the support I need, if this goes on for a while.  I am also looking forward to chatting with a Mama Mentor with any breastfeeding hurdles I may encounter with baby #4! Breastfeeding is always a struggle for me and having a listening ear and someone to guide me through the process is reassuring.
