DISNEY WORLD 2016 |MICKEY’S VERY MERRY CHIRSTMAS PARTY

Last week, we took a quick trip north to Disney world’s for their Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party.  This was our second year attending the event and we really had a great time. The park slows down just a little bit, the lines for all the rides are more tolerable and throughout the entire park, they give out Christmas treats like hot cocoa, eggnog and ginger cookies.  They also play Christmas music and the parades are really spectacular.

Seeing Christmas through your kids eyes is something really incredible, specially at Disney World.  Haddon lit up when he saw the Christmas tree on main street and they both loved meeting Tinker Bell.  Also, there’s snow! Fake snow, but the coolest flurries that add to the festivities. I think that was Emory’s favorite part. She stared at it falling for a long time.

My favorite part was seeing Grace and Haddon ride the carousel. They smiled the entire time and you could really tell that they were enjoying the ride. Also, Mickey’s philharmonic was a cool ride this time around.  Grace knew that Donald gets thrown to the back of the theater at the end of the ride and was anticipating seeing his bottom and giggling like the perfect four year old.  Haddon wore his 3-D glasses for most of the show and it was really cute seeing him try to catch Ariel and Flounder.

I’m pretty sure this is our last visit to Disney World in a long time considering we’re moving so far away. I know Grace is going to miss being a car ride away. She’s five and has been there at least 4 times!

Here are a few of our previous visits:
