happy new year!!!
last week we bid farewell to 2013 with a small shindig at our place. we were surrounded with family and friends who have blessed us throughout the year and are truly humbled that they chose to celebrate with us!
what a wonderful year 2013 was for us. some good news, some bad news and a few surprises along the way. we learned and continue to learn how to surrender our lives to Christ and to trust in His plan for us and rely on his grace. we’re learning how to be more gracious towards each other and how to prioritize our time.
if there is one thing i’d like to work on for 2014 is on simplifying. i’d like to simplify my to-do’s, my home and our schedule, with the efforts of clearing out the distractions (aka junk) that just gets in the way of what’s really important.
i’m also looking forward to more time with our little girl, more (non school) books to read, more dates with my handsome hubby and more time building long lasting relationships.
