We haven’t cracked down on baby proofing our apartment yet. We honestly thought we’d have more time before Grace started pulling on drawer knobs and sticking our car keys in outlets… ok she hasn’t done that yet, but she did crawl towards an outlet the other day and it sent chills down our necks.
Needless to say, we’re now on baby proofing alert! I’m hoping to transition into this stage smoothly without having to turn our chic apartment into the Mickey Mouse Club House and are looking at baby friendly design tips like this one from Oh Joy on redoing her stylish living room and this one from Baby Bee on practical baby proofing.
So we are thrilled that she’s off to the races but this new stage brings so much more to worry about. I now have to pick up everything off the floor… pull out the vacuum!!
So any tips? ideas? shortcuts that have worked for any of you on baby proofing? I’ll take anything I can get!
