OUR FAVORITE HUMANS

A couple of weeks ago our friends/ family came up for a visit. We celebrated the New Year and had such an amazing time catching up and kissing each other’s babies. It’s always such an epic event when we all get together. Between all of us, there are 6 adults and 9 kids and it’s always a new level of loud. We balance nap schedules, snack times and always manage to have the most fun we’ve had all year. The only downside to having such a big party is the amount of time that it takes us to get jackets on, fix car seats, have 3423 potty breaks and buckle up our seatbelts. It’s always a feat but it’s totally worth it.

Last year during their visit, we had so much fun sledding down a nearby hill. This time around, we only got a few inches of snow and unfortunately, it was all gone within a few days. So, we cuddled our babies by the fireplace and ate all sorts of good food. The kids also had such an amazing time playing together. There was a point where Alex and I looked at each other and realized that we hadn’t seen Grace for an entire day. She had so much fun playing with her cousins and is already asking for a trip to Florida.

We spent most of our time indoors because of the cold weather but as soon as we had a hint of sunshine, we set out to explore the zoo and hit all of the indoor exhibits. Below are a few pictures…

Cousins visit for the first time

Haddon is IN LOVE with his baby cousins. He loved playing with Charlee, pushing her around on her stroller and teaching Selah how to go down the stairs.
this girl, that hair and her daddy…
Guys… Grace is something else. I don’t know where she gets all of the posing from
One of the perks of having educators in the family is that they’re always looking for an opportunity to teach.
These two and their hand holding is the cutest thing.

We’re already missing these guys and can’t wait to see them again.
