A GUIDE TO HOMESCHOOL: DAILY SCHEDULE

free homeschool schedule

So apparently we are all on the same HOMESCHOOLING bandwaggon because of our Nation’s current events and if you’re anything like me, you are looking for all of the tips and direction to help navigate this time.

If your kids are in public school, they are probably used to a routine, so having something in place may be a little helpful.

This is a schedule that works really well for us. It breaks up our “schooling” hours and allows for playtime and rest time as well. As far as curriculum is concerned, some of the public schools send home schoolwork, while others don’t.

Here are a few of my favorite books that are simple and can work for these next few weeks:

Abeka curriculum Indescribable Devotional book Handwriting without tears USA flashcards | Watercolor paint books | Write on – wipe off books

I also like the Brain Quest workbooks. They’re fun and do a good job of keeping my kid’s attention.

Her’s the one we use for Haddon | Here’s the one for Emory | Here’s the one for Grace

Here’s a quiet activity book for bigger kids: Jumbo Book of hidden pictures

Dear mama, let’s take a deep breath together. Everything is going to be ok. Your kids are home with you and this is such a special time for you to INVEST in their lives. Go outside, play, read books, build forts! TALK TO YOUR KIDS! I promise that what’s going to impact their lives the most is the time that is spent with you.

Yes, there may be days when you are counting the minutes until they head back to school, but if you look at this situation as an opportunity to pour the truth of the word of God into the lives of your children and take the time to pray, read and enjoy their company, we’ll all look back and see this PAUSE as a blessing.

with love,

Tere
