on our third date of christmas we dropped our little beauty off with grandma and headed over to down town fort lauderdale. my parents live a couple of minutes from the strip and i grew up taking long runs by the new river (aka my glory days of being in shape). every time we get a chance to visit it reminds me of the my teenage years, living with my family and having all of time in the world to do whatever my heart desired!!!
we visited one of our favorite places the royal pig (we should start getting paid for all the advertisement we do for them) to quote ale “i’ve never tried anything here i did not like” and once again they did not disappoint.
we love seeing all of the decorations they put up down las olas… it feels like a little NY. obviously we know it’s NOTHING like it but a girl can dream right? 
after dinner we headed over to pan’e dolci for gelato and tried just about all of the flavors they have to offer… ahhh… delish!
