Happy 4th of July friends! Today, we’re planning on splashing around in the pool, drinking tons of sweet tea and watching fireworks when the sun goes down. We’re also celebrating 7 years since Alex proposed and me fitting into these jeans! woohoo!
This past weekend we had some friends over for a little independence day celebration and we made it to church on time yesterday! I think we’re rocking this three kids thing.
I think this little girl had such a great time at last years fourth of July celebration that she could not wait for this day to get here. She’s been asking for fireworks all year long.
He’s not too crazy about fireworks and is still afraid of the poppers and sparklers. He’s cute though, so it’s ok. I’m sure one day he’ll be the one chasing the girls around with lit fireworks so I’ll take this stage for as long as it lasts!
I found these dresses for the girls and if I would have gotten one for myself too, but they didn’t have my size. Go figure!
I hope you and your loved ones have a wonderful Independence day!
Also, here are a few of our previous Independence day celebrations and a snippet on my American story.
Do you have any Fourth of July traditions?
Happy 4th of July! (p.s. I love that hat!!)
