On Mondays—after a long, busy weekend—we like to embrace a slower pace. It goes against the grain because Mondays are usually when everyone hits the floor running, but not at our house. We homeschool, and our kids are still pretty small, so we take a different approach. While the little ones are still in bed, Grace comes downstairs and sneaks into bed with me. We put on a few of her favorite cartoons, pull out some of our favorite books, and do something completely unexpected. We have cereal in bed!
