I have so many pictures and stories to share with you! We recently visited our family in Florida and to our surprise, Alex and my brothers planned a trip to Disney World. This was a pretty big deal for us. I have been asking Alex for a trip to Disney for the past couple of years and it just happened that we got to celebrate our niece’s birthday. As if we needed a reason to celebrate, we planned our course and all 13 of us headed off to the most magical place!
The kids had no idea we were going to Disney. Grace thought we were headed to Coco beach and my nephews were certain that they were going to the dentist. We broke the news to the kids on our drive up to Orlando and spent the day sweaty, sticky and so happy. We ate all the Mickey snacks, took turns watching the babies and were so full of Disney magic by the time we left. There were so many sweet memories. The kids riding the teacups, riding thunder mountain with Haddon and laughing with my brothers.
Everything worked out so well. We walked in right when the parade was starting and the kids had front row seats to all of the fun. Emory’s face was priceless throughout the entire show. She won’t stop talking the dancers and the castle.
I love this picture! I think these reactions were stuck to our faces the entire time we were there.
This has to be one of my favorite pictures of the entire day. I’m so grateful that my brothers and I have such a close bond and that we’re raising our families together. So much of our relationship is due to the values that my parents instilled in us and the fact that we all long to be more like Christ, has allowed our relationship to grow and become what it is today.
Ok. This was super exciting. The kids were recently introduced to Toy Story so meeting Buzz was a highlight of their trip.
Here are the rest of our pictures:
These two cuties. Their smiles are so precious and both of these girls are so full of life it’s contagious.
