Ok, it’s here. It’s beautiful, it’s hot, it’s warm and it’s sticking around. Ah Summer!
We have been waiting all year for warmer air and sunshine, and it’s finally here. We are so excited to finally get outdoors and hit up all of our favorite hikes, lakes and spend time riding bikes as a family. Things are looking up for us, and I’m making sure I’m feeling my best with the Benadryl® Allergy ULTRATAB®. You see, I have seasonal allergies that flare up during the summer months, and I’m determined to keep those allergies at bay all summer long. So today, I’m sharing a few tips on how I enjoy summer outside!

1. Time your activities – Pollen is usually heavy in the evening here, so I plan to go out in the morning. I also like to get outdoors after a good rain, because the rain helps clear out pollen from the air.
2. Don’t bring the outdoors in – I make it a point to place a doormat at every entrance to keep the outdoors out and not carry in allergens in my shoes. I wash out my bedding and pillowcases with hot water weekly to fend off allergens. I also remove my clothes as soon as I come back indoors and rinse my body, so I don’t bring any allergens along.
3. Use sunscreen – I make it a point to have a good, quality sunscreen, like Aveeno® Positively Mineral, as well as protective clothing to make sure that I am not exposed to UVA & UVB rays.
4. Bring Benadryl® along – I do my best to keep allergies at bay, and one way I make sure to keep symptoms from allowing me to enjoy summer to the fullest is with Benadryl®. I get effective relief from my allergies with Benadryl® Allergy ULTRATAB® Tablets. Benadryl® is antihistamine relief in a small tablet that works when I need it most. I usually bring the Benadryl with me whenever I set out for a bike ride, walk around the park or spend time in backyard.
Summer is by far our favorite season, and you better believe that I will be spending as much time as possible outdoors.
Here’s to sunshine, to warm weather and to a little help from products I trust!
