GUITAR LESSONS

This post is sponsored by Fender but the content and opinions expressed here are my own.

I grew up in a  musical family. My brothers and I played all sorts of instruments and were in bands through grade school.  Music has a played a huge role in who we are today! Learning how to play an instrument helped with our self-expression, increased our confidence, and helped us develop a good work ethic. I have fond memories of all six of us sitting together singing, playing the guitar and enjoying each other’s company. It was something we looked forward to and it’s a practice and tradition that I’d like to pass down to my own family.

One of my goals for this upcoming year is to pick up the guitar again. Playing the guitar has always been a way to destress and inspire my creativity.  One of the ways I am hoping to do that is through an app called Fender Play.

Fender play is the complete learning app for guitar, bass, or ukulele from the most trusted name in guitar. I started taking lessons and have noticed that just five minutes a day has had some major benefits. This app lets you go at your own pace, it tracks your progress, and it has guided pathways that help you learn when and how you want. The program is easy to follow. You can choose the style of music and the song, and since they’re designed by educational professionals, you know you’re in good hands!

I have already learned a few songs and have brushed up on some chord progressions. My fingers are also getting their movement and strength back and I can already see progress.

You can try Fender Play for yourself with a free trial!  and sign up for their Annual Plan which gets you 10% off Fender gear for the year in the US & UK!
