a few thoughts
today we are embarking on an adventure 19 years in the making (we’ll share all about it soon) and we’re celebrating my dad’s birthday (hurray!) it’s quite a memorable day and pretty soon our instagram and Facebook will be lit up with excitement.
i can’t thank everyone enough for all of the birthday (week) wishes. there’s so much going on here that i haven’t even had a chance to share some of our pictures form our week…. they’ll be up soon.

i actually spent most of the night awake with a teething baby so it kind of worked out perfect as far as timing is concerned. what didn’t work out was this morning’s 25 minute drive to the car dealership with a crying baby in the back seat because she was incredibly exhausted and momma hadn’t had her coffee and the heat was excruciating and i couldnt figure out how to work the radio on the car and we were both hungry… and… ugh… 1…2…3…4…5…10
also did anyone see the season premiere of Duck Dynasty… i’m hooked!!!
anyway. i hope you all have an amazing weekend full of sleep and non-stresful car rides!
