JUNKSTOCK + A PONY RIDE

Last week we took a quick trip to Junkstock.  It’s a vintage and antique festival that they hold a couple of times a year.  In spite of the cold and snow still on the ground, we had a great time.  My favorite moment was when Grace and Haddon rode ponies.  The whole moment lasted all but 10 minutes but it was so fun.

Grace’s smile was priceless.  She was so happy to be riding solo and said she felt like sheriff Callie.  I had to hold on to Haddon’s little leg because they weren’t long enough to balance on their own around the pony.  He’s all about being the fastest boy and kept looking back to make sure the pony behind wasn’t catching up to him.

I took a little Instagram story of him that ended with him winking at the camera.  It was timed perfectly and it was a great example of how he gets everything he wants around here.  I also think these are the last pictures of him before he took scissors to his own hair.

We spent a lot more time at this event last year, but the cold ushered us right back to our car and home for some warm dinner.

Here are a few more pictures…
