As the evenings start to get a little cooler, we all gravitate outdoors. Our family gravitates outdoors any time of year, but these evenings and these sunsets have been so incredible that all we want to do is be outside. One of our favorite things to do is to grab our sidewalk chalk, oversized picnic blanket and spend time playing outdoors as a family. This is a great time for us to get to know our neighbors, breathe in some fresh air and pet all of the doggies that are out for walks. We always bring snacks, for ourselves and to share with our friends and these days we are snacking on Sun-Maid® Sour Raisin Snacks.
It’s so much fun seeing the kid’s creativity come through with just a few colors and a blank driveway canvas. Grace always opts for flowers and rainbows, and Haddon has been trying to perfect his cars and airplanes.
Alex hung up a tree swing when we first moved to this home and the kids love it. I love it because it reminds me of my childhood. Our neighbors always stop by and ask to jump on. I think it’s so funny how something so simple can bring about conversations that lead to friendships.
I’ve noticed that one of the ways we have built friendships with our neighbors, is by sharing our snacks. It works at the park and it works in our driveway. These days, we are sharing our Sun-Maid® Sour Raisin Snacks because they fuel all of our little adventurers. These are delicious, whole food snacks with a punch of flavor. My kids love them and I do too. These are made with no added sugar, non-GMO, gluten-free, and they have no synthetic colors. They’re also super fun and tangy. Sun-Maid® Sour Raisin Snacks are such a fun snack option and they are available at your local Walmart.
The cold weather doesn’t usually hit us here in Texas until November, so we have a few more weeks to play outside and hang out with our neighbors. We are making a lot of memories and that is something I am super grateful for. Here’s to wonderful snacks and to being outdoors!
