MY WALMART HAUL

This post is sponsored by ConAgra, Danone, Amy’s Kitchen, and Good Food Made Simple®. All opinions are my own.

Logging in today to spread some good news: Walmart has great options for people who are on special diets. Last week, Grace and I stopped by our local Walmart and were so excited to find some of our favorite brands in the frozen section. We packed up our Walmart reusable bag and grabbed a few of our favorites.  And because sharing is caring, today I wanted to share them with you.

First off, I think it’s important to say that sometimes, we like to start with dessert.  We believe that there are no official rules that keep us from that and for that reason; I am sharing my love So Delicious Frozen Dessert Bars.  They have a few flavors, but my favorite has to be their Mocha Almond Fudge. It has an incredible chocolate and almond bit chocolate outer layer and the creamiest vanilla center. So Delicious® is a certified B-Corp™ which means that they have joined the global movement of brands using business as a force for good. They’re also non-GMO Project Certified and certified vegan. The kids and I love enjoying these outdoors and I’m so glad Walmart carries them.

As if a Chick’n Pot Pie couldn’t get any better, now Marie Callender’s Plant-Based Chick’n Pot pie is made with Gardein Plant-Based Chick’n and it’s as tasty as ever.  Marie Callender’s Chick’n Pot Pie has a golden, flaky crust that is made from scratch and envelops seasoned Gardein Plant-Based Chick’n, carrots, celery, and peas for a meat-free spin on a classic.  It’s perfect for vegetarians, flexitarians, and people, like us… who love a great pot pie! So if you’re looking for a meatless option that’s comforting, convenient, and tasty, potpie is for you!

Did someone say Pizza? Amy’s Cheese Veggie Crust Pizza is made with organic cauliflower, broccoli and sweet potato crust.  It’s the perfect way to spend a Friday night and feel amazing the next day.  My kids love the taste and I love the fact that I get to sneak in some veggies!

Now, for the favorite of all favorites… Amy’s Mac & Cheese.  You guys, we love mac and cheese. I won’t admit to you how often we have it, but I will tell you that my kids ask for Amy’s Mac & Cheese by name! This is the Amy’s Mac & 3 Cheese with Cauliflower Bowl. It’s comfort food made easy and it’s gluten-free. The three-cheese sauce starts from scratch (no powder used here!). Then, it’s added to gluten-free pasta and organic cauliflower. Every bite is just as satisfying as the last and it goes fast at our house.

Good Food Made Simple® Cauliflower Kung Pao – This is such a fun dish.  It’s like my favorite restaurant and my couch meet in person! This is a certified gluten-free dish that is high in protein, lower in sodium, and has non-GMO veggies. Their cauliflower Kung Pao is vegetarian and it reminds me of sitting with Alex at my favorite restaurant.  These days, I’m having this dish on my couch because all of my dinners are way better when I’m comfy and wrapped up in blankets.

Good Food Made Simple® French Toast – Ah! Let’s talk about breakfast. Better yet, let’s talk about this French Toast that is made with oats & ancient grains, it’s full of antioxidants and has 40 grams of whole grains per serving.  This is worth waking up for and I love that I can find it right in the freezer section of Walmart. Their Cinnamon flavor has 13 grams of protein and 40g of whole grains per 2-slice serving and the original has 11 grams of protein and 26g of whole grains.  I love these with a warm cup of coffee and my kid’s love pouring a bit of maple syrup on them.  Regardless, they’re so comforting and indulgent.

These are some of the products that we picked up while in-store. However, Walmart also offers an online pick-up and delivery, which is even better. So, here’s to Walmart and to the brands that keep us excited about sticking to our new diets
