We are hitting the six month mark with Emory and are starting to feel like we are finding our groove. We are getting to know each other and are learning so much about who she is, what she likes and definitely learning about what she doesn’t like. She is the perfect caboose to our family of five and although we already know so much about her, we are just scratching the surface.
So far, she has been a super laid back baby with very little demands. She soothes herself and only cries if she is either super hungry or has a dirty diaper. We know that pretty soon she is going to become more alert and will be ready to engage everyone around her and won’t want to lay down for much longer.
Last week, we received a PortaPlay™ Convertible Activity Center from Oribel and were super excited to try it. Right off the bat, assembling the PortaPlay™ was a breeze! I honestly thought that I was going to need a degree to put the Activity center together based on my past experience with play sets. I even put my brother-in-law on standby while Alex was away, thinking I wouldn’t be able to figure it out on my own but it took all but five minutes to assemble. The legs were easy to fold out and all of the accessories just needed to be pushed into the table top. This was one of the coolest features. The fact that the legs fold in makes it super portable and really easy to store.
