It’s happening friends. It’s happening. We are getting off the diaper train (at least until the next baby joins us) and we are dancing all the happy dances. We’ve been working on getting Emory off diapers and we are making progress. All the kids are involved in the process and it really is a party every time Emory shout’s “mama peepee!” They all rush to the bathroom, hold Emory’s hand and encourage her to go for it!
This guy is getting a nice break this week from diaper duty (since it’s Father’s Day week) but he’ll jump right back in on Monday… no excuses. It’s a lot of fun for the kids to see Alex get excited about things. They love it when he encourages them and I love seeing the whole thing play out.
I’m not sure how long we’ll be working on potty training this little lady but we are all enjoying the entire experience.
We’re also bringing in the heavy duty help of Huggies, Pull-Ups Learning Designs Training Pants, and GoodNites Bedtime Bedwetting Underwear. Emory loves using them because of all the fun characters and gets a kick out of feeling like a big girl.
On another note, we like to order our diapers through Amazon. It’s so convenient and we signed up (and you can too) for Amazon’s Subscribe & Save program that allows parents to save up to 20% (20% when you order 5 products through Amazon Family) and get free shipping… so that’s something to be excited about!
Here’s to a little break from diapers before we’re elbows deep… again!
