SPRING BREAK- FAMILY BRUNCH

spring break has been incredible!!! seriously… i can’t remember the last time we got out of bed at 10am and planned our days without time constraints. it really has been one of the few times all three of us have spent this much quality time together.

IMG_7031last week we took a ride to grand-lux cafe for sunday brunch.  it was close to home  (two minute drive to be exact) which meant we were the first people there.  it was quiet and scrumptious and perfect for family quality time.

IMG_7071 IMG_7079^^this little girl. she loves the water and would have jumped in this fountain head first if i would have let her^^IMG_7152^^we had planned on going to georgia for spring break but the plans fell through because of the weather. one of my must do’s for the trip was to finally try authentic southern fried chicken and waffles.  didn’t get to do that.. so i thought this would be the next best thing.  i ordered these from their brunch menu and they were scrumptious… so if the “real thing” is anything like these crispy bunches of goodness i’m in for a real treat!^^IMG_7112

IMG_7132^^these cutie pies look good anywhere.  we had the outside seating area all to ourselves (we really were the first ones there) at least for a full 10 minutes… it was quiet and priceless!^^IMG_7123^^can’t get enough of this^^
