Guys it’s Valentines this week and we are elbows deep in heart shaped glitter and pink cookie frosting. It’s so much fun to see Grace get really excited about the holidays and actually want to go out of her way to make the holidays special for other people. This year she wanted to decorate cards and send them out to her friends and grandparents. She was also excited about recording a little video.
She looks so big to me and her personality is really coming through these days. Last week, she asked if we could go camping in our living room and if we could fly back to Florida and go to the beach. She’s also planning a trip to California to visit Giada and has been learning her states and capitols. Anyway. Rambling here. I just really love her and love who she is becoming and I’m enjoying sharing these holidays with her and being able to tie everything back to our faith because God is love (1 John 4:8) and we show His love when we love one another (John 13:34).
I hope that as you celebrate these holidays with your family and friends you can take a minute to thank the One who showed us the ultimate gift of love. His life.
For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life. John 3:16
I loved when Grace and Haddon were sharing their sucker with Emory. 😉
