Welcome! I’m Teresa, the homeschooling mom and foodie behind With love, Tere and Ale & Tere.
I grew up in South Florida and now live near Dallas, Texas where I live with my four kids and husband Alex. We have four kids Grace, Haddon, Emory, and Harrison, and recently welcomed two mini Schnauzers, Luther and Spurgeon. We spend most of our days' homeschooling and sharing meals together. When we’re not outdoors playing, I am often in the kitchen cooking up all sorts of goodies all day long.

I love being in the kitchen and have fond memories of helping my mom whip up amazing meals out of whatever she had on hand. We were a low-income immigrant family and she had an incredible gift of making masterpieces out of humble ingredients.
She taught me that cooking is an art and that knowing what something should taste like is more important than following a specific recipe. Her dad was an Arabic chef and he taught her and her sisters everything about Mediterranean cooking.

I have two passions, my family and the kitchen, and here is where I share both. Thank you for hanging out with me!
