we’ve done so much in such a short amount of time ya’ll it’s hard to believe christmas break is almost over. good news is that our anniversary was yesterday (12/26) and we had a magical time celebrating with dinner and the most pleasant conversation we’ve had in weeks! it’s always so nice to dress like a big girl and throw the flip flops and stretchy skinny jeans aside for an evening of grown up talk and steak!
my fave red lips made a cameo and the food at our go-to celebratory restaurant was outstanding! not to mention my hot date who looks better now than ever before! (he really does… he has this salt and pepper thing coming in really nice… sigh…) 
sometimes i have those moments when i feel like time is flying by faster than i can keep up with it…it usually happens when i’m running after a toddler with a wet diaper who decided to throw a tantrum while i’m trying to put her down for her nap. our marriage however, is a bit different… it doesn’t feel like it’s flown by. it feels like we’ve enjoyed every season we’ve gone through and for the most part, i can recall every one of those seasons. we’ve shared such wonderful years that are all engrained in my memory. even the hard years have had a sweet beginnings and a sweet endings to them.
so, my dear ale, here’s to another 4 years (+50) of sparkling conversation, love and laughter!
