It’s been a while since I dedicated an entire post to Emory, and today I am taking the opportunity to highlight my little lady.
Emory is 1 (21 months) but she’s making sure we all know she’s just as grown up, smart and entitled to our attention as her brother and sister Grace. She’s loves doing “shkoosh” and counts to five all on her own. She colors on anything and everything she can get her hands on and prefers drinking out of a big girl cup rather than a sippy cup. Then, she proceeds to shake the cup until it all spills or sticks her hands in the cup and scoops the liquids right up to her mouth. Not the brightest way to drink her milk, but hey… you win some and you lose some.
She’s going through a not so fun stage where she’s waking up every night asking for “Walla” and won’t calm down her pipes until we give in and bring her all the water she wants.
Her giggle is contagious and her brother is the best at making her laugh until she can’t take it anymore. She loves to cuddle and get cozy under a blanket and prefers her milk “cantica” (warm).
When we’re not on Whole 30, she loves mac and cheese and would go crazy over a bowl of yogurt and honey. She is learning how to use a spoon and won’t budge when I try to take it away. She’s adventurous, daring and runs faster than I’d ever seen any 21-month-old run. She loves knocking down her brother’s block towers and wants to be just like her sister Grace.
These days, she’s snacking ALL DAY LONG and because it’s important for me to ‘Make every little bite count’ I like giving her Gerber Snacks made with whole grains, real fruit, and yogurt without the artificial flavors and colors. I love that we’re encouraging healthy eating patterns and make room for healthy snacks along the way.

I can’t believe how fast Emory is growing up. She’s bright and funny and I am looking forward to seeing her little personality continue to develop.
